/Anxiety affects many people, young and old, but for some it can be a difficult thing to admit to and a lot of people struggle with anxious thoughts for a long time. Anxiety takes different forms but in general it is a worry disorder. It's natural to worry about how things will turn out or feel nervous before certain events or situations but if left unchecked worries can lead to troublesome thoughts, rumination, avoidance of the thing that creates anxiety and ultimately to physical symptoms - chest pain, shakiness, dizziness, difficulty breathing, throat tightening, nausea etc.
